Cocktails and Appetizers
I have had a good run at getting back into the shape that I want. However, the last few weeks, the Cocktail count has been high by my standards. We have good friends that we see twice a week, and in those evenings, I have at least two cocktails.
If you add up the calories of 4 Vodka Tonics per week, you are looking at 600 Calories…not to mention the appetizers that usually include some sort of chip/dip combo. Let’s call that an extra 1000 calories total per week.

So, as good as I have been, I have been ingesting an extra pound each month by socializing. I don’t intend to give up being social, but I am going Sober for one month. This means NO drinks…not one!!! Wish me luck.
Here is the picture from week three. I have been working out, not as intense as I would like, so I need to kick that up a notch at the same time I cut out the drinking. You tell me what changes you see in the coming weeks.
